Buxton

      Sir Thomas Fowell Buxton, 1st baronet. M.P. (7 April 1786-19 Feb 1845).
      Brewer (Truman, Hanbury & Buxton Co. Burton-on-Trent and Brick Lane, London; abolitionist (of slavery) and social reformer.

     Samuel Gurney Buxton (1 Nov 1838 - 12 Feb 1909)
 :Son of Sir Edward North Buxton also of his second wife Mary Anne, daughter of Henry Birkbeck, Stoke Holy Cross, died 6 April 1838, aged 86.

     Edward Gurney Buxton (4 Aug 1865 - 19 April 1929) of Catton Hall,
      eldest son of Samuel Gurney Buxton; and his wife Laura Gurney (died 15 Dec 1957, aged 82).
