    Brewer (Truman, Hanbury & Buxton Co. Burton-on-Trent and Brick Lane, London; abolitionist (of slavery) and social reformer.
Samuel Gurney Buxton (1 Nov 1838 - 12 Feb 1909)
 :Son of Sir Edward North Buxton also of his second wife Mary Anne, daughter of Henry Birkbeck, Stoke Holy Cross, died 6 April 1838, aged 86.
