Are you interested in stamps, postcards, local history, family history etc ? Have you an interesting collection? Are you willing to show it to others? Would you like to meet others with similar interests ? Then we would like to meet you.
The 'WE' in the above statement is the Dereham & District Stamp Club. Since 1975 the Club has provided a focal point for philatelists in the local area and at our peak we had over 35 members, but now we are down to 8 and are in danger of disbanding. But, as Baldrick would say ' We have a cunning plan '.
What we wish to do is expand the remit of the club beyond stamps into other collectables areas. The reasoning behind this is simple - many of our members not only collect stamps but also postcards, cigarette cards, ornaments, books, bottles, toys etc which are related to their stamp collections or other interests.

Members and visitors are invited to bring along a few examples relating (tenuously or directly) to the theme for display and discussion.
