ROXHAM, a small parish, 4 miles S. of Downham, has 9 houses, 45 souls, and 700 acres of land, the property of E. R. Pratt, Esq. The Church has been decayed several centuries, and its curacy consolidated with Ryston. Some traces of the moat which formerly surrounded a mansion called Walpole House may still be traced.
