IMPRIMIS I give and devise All those my Two Tenements being the Northmost half part of All that my Messuage in Gorleston aforesaid together with all ye Yards adjoyning to and now or late used with ye said two Tenements and also all that Edifice small Building or Washhouse at the North End of the said Yards unto my Son William Dawson for and during the Term of his Natural Life (he keeping the same in good Repair) and from and after his Decease to the Eldest Child Lawfully begotten or to be begotten of the Body of the said William Dawson then living whether Son or Daughter and to the Heirs and Assigns of Such Child for ever and for want of such Issue of the Body of my Said Son William then I give and devise all the same two Tenemts. and their appurtenances unto my Daughter Anne the Wife of Thomas Saddler and to her Heirs and Assigns for Ever.
ITEM I give and devise All those my other two Tenemts. being the Southmost half part of my said Messuage with the Yards thereto adjoyning and the Outhouses in the same Yards last mentioned unto my said Daughter Anne the Wife of Thomas Saddler for and during the Term of her Natural Life (she keeping the same in good Repair) and from and after her Decease to the Eldest Child Lawfully begotten or to be begotten of her Body that shall be living at that time and to the Heirs and Assigns of such Eldest Child for ever whether it be Son or Daughter and for want of such Issue of the Body of my said Daughter Anne then I give and devise all the same last mentioned premises unto my said Son William and to his Heirs and Assigns for Ever
AND as to my House of Office or Jaques (?) belonging to my said Messuage – and my part or Right of a Certain Well and pump standing & being in the Ground of my Kinsman Robert Francis and near or adjoyning to my Said Yards I Will the same shall at all times for Ever be and remain for ye Common Use & Benefit of all my said Tenemts.
AND that at all times hereafter ye Owners and Occupiers of my said four Tenements shall have full and free passage by & through my side Yards to and from the same House of Office Well and Pump by the most Usual and convenient Ways or Passages now or late used for that purpose each of my sd. Tenements being subject to an equal proportionable Charge in repairing and new making ye Same House of Office Well and Pump as often as need shall require.
ITEM I give & bequeath unto my said Daughter Anne Saddler & to her Executors Adms. & Assigns my Copper with ye Irons thereto belonging & all other my Brewing Implements which at ye time of my Decease shall be in my said Edifice or Wash house or elsewhere in my possession and also all my Houshold Stuff Plate Linnen & Cloaths and all other my Effects Goods and Chattells whatsoever.
AND my will and mind is that my said Son William shall out of & for ye sd. two Tenements & premises to him above devised pay or cause to be paid one half part of my Debts Funeral Charges and probate of this my Will & that my said Daughter Anne shall pay or cause to be paid the other half part thereof.
AND lastly I do nominate & Appoint the said William Dawson my Son & the said Anne Saddler my Daughter to be Executors of this my Will IN WITNESS whereof I have hereunto sett my Hand & Seal the twelfth Day of February Anno Dni. 1731.
