The Will of James BARBER,
of Horstead, Norfolk
1757
Mr. James Barber his Will and Testament 31 of October 1757.
I ...... my loveing Wife Ann Barber and William my Son my sole Executrix and
Executor And I give and bequeath unto James Barber my Son the sum of fivety Pounds
of good and lawfull Monie And I likewise give and bequeath unto Ann Barber my
daughter the Sum of fivety Pounds of good and lawfull Monie And I likewise give and
bequeath to George Barber my youngest Son the Sum of fivety Pounds of good and
lawfull Monie & to be paid him when he is twenty two years of Age by the Executor or
Executrix. My son James Barber to be paid two Years after my Decease & Ann Barber
my Daughter to be paid three Years after my Decease And if my son William Barber
my Executor should marry before the Decease of Ann Barber my Wife and like to take
the whole Business then he shall give my Wife a Bed & ffurneture for one Room in the
House and five Pounds a Year of good and lawfull Monie be paid her so long as it
please God she may live.
The within named Executors were sworn in due form of Law before me
