FIRST I give and devise unto Angel ffox my Daughter All and every of my Messuages Lands Tenements and Hereditaments with their appurtenances as well Copyhold as ffreehold as of any other nature or Tenure situate lying and being in Knapton in the said County or Towns thereto adjoining TO HOLD to her the said Angel ffox my Daughter and her heirs for ever AND I do hereby subject charge and make liable both in Law and Equity All and every other of my Messuages Lands tenements and hereditaments with their appurtenances as well Copyhold as ffreehold as of any other nature or Tenure situate lying and being in Clay next the Sea and in Aylmerton aforesaid or elsewhere To the payment of the annuity Legacys or Sums of Money after mentioned (that is to say) To the Payment of One Annuity or clear Yearly Rent Charge of Thirty Five Pounds of good and lawful Money of Great Britain clear of all Deductions for taxes or otherwise howsoever unto Hannah my Wife or her assigns Yearly and every Year for and during all the term of her natural Life If and not otherwise she shall continue my Widow in four Quarterly Payments in every Year the first Payment to begin at the End of Three Calendar Months next after my decease AND I do hereby declare that in case my said Wife shall marry that then from such time of her marriage she shall be intitled only to an Annuity of Ten Pounds for her Life AND ALSO to the Payment of three Sums of One Hundred Pounds of the lawful Money of Great Britain unto my Daughter Hannah the Wife of Robert Massingham her Executors or Administrators at the End of Three Years next after my decease AND ALSO To the further Payment of three Sums of One Hundred Pounds of like lawful Money unto the said Angel ffox my Daughter her Executors or Administrators at the End of ffour Years next after my decease AND in case default shall be made in Payment of the said Annuity or Legacies or any part of them as the Days and Times hereinbefore Limitted and appointed for the payment thereof contrary to the true intent of this my Will That then and so often as such default shall be made it shall and may be lawful to and for the person or Persons to whom such default shall be made to enter into all and every or any part of the Messuages Lands Tenements and Hereditaments subjected as aforesaid by this my Will and the same to hold and enjoy and the rents and profits thereof to receive and take until they shall be fully paid their said Annuity or Legacies with all Interest Costs and Damages and Subject as aforesaid I devise all and every of my said Messuages Lands Tenements and Hereditaments (Except those before devised to my said Daughter Angel ffox) unto John ffox my Son TO HOLD to him and his Heirs for ever
ITEM I give and bequeath unto the said Hannah my Wife such parts and so much of my Plate China Linnen and Household ffurniture as she shall choose to have not exceeding the fair Value of One Hundred and Twenty Pounds ALSO I give to her my said Wife all such Goods Wares and Merchandizes as I shall have at the time of my decease and which are Termed Shop Goods and bought for my Wife's Selling in the Shop Way AND I do hereby nominate and appoint the said Hannah my Wife and the said John ffox my Son Executors of this my Will AND I do hereby constitute John Worstead of Sherringham in the County aforesaid Supervisor of this my Will devising his ffriendly advice to my Wife and ffamily AND I give him the said John Worstead for his Trouble Ten Pounds I give to the said John ffox my Son all the residue and remainder of my Goods Chattels Effects Moneys and personal Estate whatsoever and wheresoever which I shall leave at the time of my decease Subjected to the payment of all my Just Debts Funeral Expenses Probate of my Will and all other incident Charges
AND LASTLY I do hereby appoint the porch of the Parish Church of Aylmerton aforesaid to be the place of payment of the Annuity & Legacys aforesaid
IN WITNESS whereof I have to this my said Will Contained in two Sheets of Paper to the first Sheet thereof sett my Hand and to this my Hand and Seal the Day and Year first above written.
