Itm I give unto the poore people of the towne of Lycham twenty Shillings & to the poore of the towne of Tittleshall ten Shillings
Itm I give & bequeath unto Christopher Hey my son in law? & to my daughter Mary his wife two hundred and twenty pounds to make up one hundred & twenty pounds which they have had of me already three hundred & forty pounds to be paid to them by my Executor in manner followinge that is to say one hundred & four score pounds thereof so soon as the Same may be gotten in & raysed out of the mony owinge me & forty pounds residue of the two hundred & twenty pounds uppon the first day of January which shall be in Anno Dm 1644 in full discharge of two hundred pounds which I pmised my said Son in law in marriage with my said daughter
Itm I give & bequeath unto Thomas Dawson my Son one of my best feather bedds & one of my worst feather bedds & pillowe my best boulster my new Chest my livery Cubbord the halfe of my pewter my biggest brasse pot my newest brasse pot my least brasse pot but one my biggest kettle & the least of my three best kettles my bedsteads at Watton (Walton?) my teepe three silver Spoons three p. of Sheets & a p. of fine holland pillowcases?
Itm I give unto my said Son in law & my daughter all the rest of my houshold stuffe & utensils of houshold beds beddinge brasse pewter plate linnen & woollen whatsoever
Itm all the residue of my Goods Chattles & cattle bonds bills morgages advantages of morgages moneys psonall. estate whatsoever not formerly? hereby given & bequeathed I give them unto Thomas Dawson my said son whome I ordain & make Sole Executor of this my last will he payinge my debts & bringinge my body decently to the Ground & I appoint my loveinge freinde Luke Constable of Swaffham gent Supvisr. of this my last Will desiringe him to be aydinge & assistinge to my Said Executor & I give my Said Supvisr. for his love & paines to be taken herein five pounds
