This is the last Will & Testament of me Robert Youngman of Gresham Senr. contained
in the following words (that is to say) first I give & Devise to Mary Charster (Thaxter)
my Grand Daughter two pieces of freehold land in Gresham purchased of Mr. John
Houselute(?) of the same Parish lying at each end of the Copyhold land on which my
Cottage is built for the term of her Naturall life & after her decease to John Youngman
my Grandson if then living and his heires for ever but for want of heires of the said
John to the heires of the above said Mary Charster (Thaxter) My Jack my Clock my two
Beds & little table in the parlour with halfe a dozen of my best chairs & the liberty of
taking away her bees & blocks at the most seasonable time for removing the same & all
her Goods that are in my Custody the rest of my household goods not before disposed
of I bequeath to the abovesaid Mary Charster (Thaxter) and John Youngman to be
equally divided between them John share of the Goods to be taken care of till of age by
the abovesaid Mary Lastly I do hereby Nominate constitute & appoint the said Mary
Charster (Thaxter) Sole Executrix of this my Will She to take my Debts & to pay my
Debts and funeral charges & to see my Body decently buryed In Witness whereof I
have to this my last Will set my hand & Seal this fourth of May 1759.

Signed Sealed published & declared by the said Testator Robert Youngman to be his
last Will & testament in the presence of us who in his presence & at his request
Inscribed our names as Witnesses hereunto.

The within named Mary Thaxter was then sworn to the due execution of this Will
before Timo. Jones, Surrogate
