Information on Southrepps

First I comend my Soul into the hands of almighty God hoping thro’ the merits of Christ Jesus to be Saved everlastingly and as to the worldly Estate where with it hath pleased the Lord to entrust me I give & devise the Same as followeth
Item I give and bequeath unto James Dawson my son & his heirs all my houses lands and Tenements in Runton? and Else where and also all my personall Estate of wt Nature soever Except the Bed as it Stand in the Kitchen Chamber of my now dwelling house wch sd bed I give unto Elizabeth my loveing wife And unto the sd James all the remainer or terme of Yrs yet to come of any lease of houses lands & Tenemts in Southrepps Thorp Markett or else where to me made Upon Condition that he the said James Dawson Shall and Doe pay in to my sd Loving Wife Elizabeth or her assines in heir of Dower yearly during her nral life in equall quarterly paymts upon the nine and Twentyeth day of September the five and twentyeth Day of December the five and twentyeth day of March and the four and twentyeth Day June the Sume of Sixteen pounds the first paymt. to begin on wch of ye sd Days Shall next happen after my Decease and on Condicon tht he the sd James Shall & do pay unto Susan my Daur the Sume of Sixty pounds of lawfull money of great Brittain within two Yrs after my Decease and on this further Condicon tht he the sd James Shall & do pay unto Sarah my Daur the sume of Sixty Pounds of like money within four Yrs after my Decease and also on this farther Condicon that he the sd James shall & Doe pay unto Richard Ellis my Grandson when he attaine the age of four & twenty Yrs the Sume of twenty pounds of like Money and like wise on this farther Condicon tht he the sd James shall & do pay unto Martha Moore relict? of Thos. Moore late of Aylsham? afrsd the further Sume of five pounds within one Month after my decease
But if it shall happen th.. ......... or any legacy hereby given or any part thereof Shall be unpd wthn the Space of two months after the Same shall become due then my will & mind is tht it Shall & may be lawfull to and for Eliz my sd wife Susan & Sarah my sd daurs Richd Ellis my sd Grandson & the sd Martha Moore & to any of them to whom default Shall be made of paymt Joyntly & Severally to enter not only into all my houses lands and Tenemts in ......ton & elsewhere but also into all my houses lands & Tenemts wch I hold by? vertue of any lease for thereof to me made and the same to hold untill they and evry of thm shall be fully pd the sd annuity & legacys and all charges of coming into the same and I do ........ & appointe the South Porch of the parish of Southreps aforesd the Place of paymt of all my sd annuity and legacys and the sd James Dawson my sd Son sole Exor of this my will he taking my Debts and paying my Debts & legacys & bringing my body Decently to the grave
In Witness whereof I have to this my last Will written on one Sheet of paper Set my hand & seal this third day of June in the yr of our Lord 1728
