I give and devise unto my said wife All my messuages lands tenements and hereditaments with their appurtenances To hold the same unto her her heirs and assigns for ever
I give to the said Samuel Robinson and Mark Blowers their executors and administrators the sum of one hundred pounds out of such part only of my personal estate as shall not consist of chattels rent or mortgages In trust that they or the survivor of them his executors administrators or assigns do and shall place the same out at interest in their names or name during the life of my said wife And do and shall from time to time alter and vary the same at their or his discretion And do and shall during the life of my said wife, pay the interest thereof to her for her sole use And from and after her decease do and shall pay and apply the said principal sum of One hundred pounds unto such person or persons in such parts shares and proportions and in such way and manner as they the said Samuel Robinson and Mark Blowers or the survivor of them his executors or administrators shall judge most proper and beneficial for the purpose of preaching and expounding Gods Holy Word and for the performance of other acts of Religious Worship in ‘a certain’ Chapel situate at Gorleston aforesaid called or known by the name of the Wesleyan or Methodist Chapel (......... under the trusts declared in and by a certain Indenture of Lease and Release bearing date respectively on or about the fifth and sixth days of December one thousand eight hundred and twenty three the Release made between Henry Shreeve Cordwainer Rodr.... Freeman Tailor Samuel Tuck Plumber and Glazier Samuel Larter Sawyer Jonas Bell Sawyer and me the said Thomas Dawson of the first part Henry Leggett Pilot of the second part William Brown Yeoman Charles Willis Beart Liquor Merchant and John Orfeur Accountant of the third part Thomas Barwell Yeoman of the fourth part me the said Thomas Dawson William Canham Pilot James Johnson Shopkeeper James Lawn Tailor William Howes Plumber and Glazier John Nightingale Blacksmith Abraham Bristow Cordwainer and George Whiskin Exciseman of the fifth part and Samuel Crow Gentleman of the sixth part) so as such preaching and expounding be conformable to the doctrines contained in certain notes upon the New Testament and the first four volumes of sermons published by the late Reverend John Wesley deceased
All the rest and residue of my goods chattles personal estate and effects that shall remain after payment of my debts funeral and testamentary expenses I give and bequeath unto my said wife for her own use And I do hereby declare that my said trustees and Executors and the survivor of them his executors and administrators shall not be answerable for involuntary losses or for each other nor for the acts in which they shall join only for conformity And I do hereby revoke all former wills by me made
In Witness whereof I the said Thomas Dawson have to this my last Will and Testament set my hand and seal the fourth day of July in the Year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty three

This Will was proved at Great Yarmouth on the eleventh day of December 1835 before the Reverend William Taylor Worship Clerk Surrogate on this behalf of the Worshipful William Yonge Clerk A. M. Official Principal of the Episcopal Consistorial Court of Norwich lawfully constituted & was approved &c and admin. of all and singular the goods &c of the within named Thomas Dawson the testator deceased was on the twenty third day of the said Month duly granted to Ruth Dawson Widow his Relict Samuel Robinson and Mark Blowers the Executrix and Executors within named they being duly sworn &c saving &c
