First I give and devise All that my messuage or dwellinghouse Lands and hereditaments situate lying and being in Sporle aforesaid and now in the occupation of myself and my Son Greenwood Hudson unto my wife Mahaly Hudson and her assigns for the term of her Life without impeachment of waste and after her decease I give and devise the same messuage lands and hereditaments unto my said Son Greenwood Hudson his heirs and assigns for ever
And I give and devise All those two acres of Land situate in Little Dunham in the said County and now in the occupation of my said son Greenwood Hudson unto my said Wife Mahaly Hudson her heirs and assigns for ever Also I give and devise unto my said Wife Mahaly Hudson and her heirs my one acre of Land in Sporle aforesaid in the occupation of Adam Hall and I hereby subject and charge the said three acres of Land so devised to my said Wife as aforesaid with the payment of the sum of twenty Pounds unto between and amongst my four Grandchildren Henry, Robert, Horace & Susan Hall in equal shares as and when they shall severally attain the age of twenty one years with lawful Interest for the same in the meantime
And I give and devise all that part of my double Cottage with the Garden and Hereditaments thereto belonging situate in Sporle aforesaid and now in the occupation of John Rolf unto Alice the widow of my late son John Hudson and her assigns for the term of her life she keeping the same in good repair and committing no waste thereon and after her decease I give and devise the same premises unto all and every the children of my said son John Hudson living at her decease To Hold to them their heirs and assigns as tenants in common and not as joint tenants
And if only one such Child then to such one or only Child his or (her?) heirs for ever
And I give and devise the remaining part of my said double Cottage at Sporle aforesaid with the Garden and Hereditaments thereto belonging and as the same is now in the occupation of William Payne unto my daughter Sophia the wife of Green Rudd of Swaffham in the said County To Hold to her my said daughter Sophia her heirs and assigns for ever Subject to the payment of twenty pounds to Sarah the wife of Adam Hall at the end of twelve calendar months next after my decease
And whereas I have lately agreed with James Souther of Great Dunham for the Sale to him of my double Cottage with the one acre of Land and Hereditaments situate and being in and copyhold of the Manor of Little Dunham aforesaid and now in the occupation of (blank) Pilgrim and (blank) Bird at the price of one hundred and thirty pounds out of which one pound has been paid to me by way of Deposit and the sum of one hundred and twenty nine pounds the residue thereof is agreed to be paid to me on the sixth day of April next when the said purchase is to be completed Now on case I shall happen to die before the said purchase is completed I do hereby authorize and empower my executrix and executor hereafter named or the survivor of them her or his executors or administrators to make and execute all such bargains Sales Conveyances and Assurances as may be necessary for perfecting the Sale of my said Copyhold Hereditaments unto the said James Souther his heirs and assigns or to whom he or they shall direct and receive and take the residue of the said purchase money whose receipt I declare shall be a sufficient discharge to the said purchaser and I direct that the purchase money so to be received by them shall be added to and form part of my personal Estate and be applied accordingly
And I give and bequeath such part of my household Goods and Furniture Plate Linen and China as shall be in the Parlour of my Dwellinghouse and the Closets Desks and Drawers therein at the time of my decease and usually kept therein unto my said Wife for her own use
And all the rest and residue of my household Goods and Furniture Plate Linen and China and all my monies and securities for money and generally all other my personal Estate and Effects whatsoever and wheresoever Subject to the payment thereout of all my just debts funeral and testamentary expences I give and bequeath the same and every part thereof unto and to be equally divided between and among my said Wife my said Son Greenwood Hudson the Children of my deceased Son John Hudson the said Sophia Rudd and Sarah Hall and to their several and respective executors and administrators but the Children of my said Son John shall take no greater share than my said son John would have taken if living
And I nominate and appoint my said Wife and John Watson of Sporle aforesaid Carpenter Executrix and Executor of this my Will And I direct that my said Executrix and Executor their executors or administrators shall not be accountable the one for the other of them or for any loss involuntary whatsoever and that they may respectively deduct and retain all costs charges and expences which they or either of them shall and may pay sustain or be due unto in or about the execution of this my Will
And I revoke all other Wills by me heretofore made and declare this to be my last
In Witness whereof I the said Tillitt Hudson have to the preceding Sheet of this my Will set my hand and to this second and last Sheet thereof my hand and seal this second day of October one thousand eight hundred and twenty eight

This Will was proved at Swaffham on the 19th day of January 1829 Before the Worshipful William Yonge Clk A.M. Official Principal of the Episcopal Consistorial Court of Norwich lawfully constituted and was approved &c and Admon. of all and singular the goods &c of the within named Tillitt Hudson the Testator deceased was on the 21st day of the said Month of January duly granted to Mahaly Hudson.
