No additions, just another rubicon crossed:
On both 9th (1007) and 12th Feb (1010) over 1000 pages were hit by users of this site. while the average usage remains around 838 page hits with 307 users per day (33-day average) - which certainly suggests to me that I am not wasting my time maintaining this site !!
Users - please keep contributing my guestbook - and continuing, not just to congratulate me, but to make suggestions (and offer help !!) to extend the usefulness of this site .... Meanwhile, thank you all ....

Note these transcripts are from Charles Parkin's editon of 1809, from which my transcript for Woodrising was made. My site also carries a transcipt of the entry for Hingham in Blomefield's own Volume I (covering the hundreds Diss, Giltross, Shropham, the Burgh of Thetford, Grimshoe, Wayland and Forehoe of printed and published by him in 1739. He published a second volume (on Norwich) before he died in 1752, but I have never seen a copy. See Biography of Francs Blomefield (with the history of the completion of his project).
